Belmont odds, betting, horses, post position, updated field: Renegade is morning-line favorite in final Triple Crown race
The 2026 Belmont Stakes will take place on Saturday at 7:04 p.m. ET in Saratoga, New York, as the usual Belmont Park track is still under renovations. The nine-horse field will include 2026 Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo, but will be without Preakness winner Napoleon Solo.
Renegade is the 2-1 morning-line favorite and drew the No. 4 post position. Chief Wallabee (3-1, post No. 3) has the next-best odds, followed by Derby winner Golden Tempo (9-2, post No. 9)
Sovereignty won the 2025 Belmont, finishing ahead of Journalism and Baeza in an eight-horse field.
