Serena Williams is making her unexpected and thrilling return to tennis today at the HSBC Championships. Williams is entered in the doubles draw at the WTA event with Canadian Victoria Mboko, and the two will face Nicole Melichar-Martinez and Erin Routliffe in a Round of 16 match that's scheduled to begin at or after 12:30 p.m. ET. The tournament, held at the Queen's Club in London, runs from June 8-14. If Williams and Mboko advance, doubles rounds continue all week and the final is scheduled for Sunday, June 14.
