Seahawks reveal Super Bowl LX rings, which feature pieces of a football and moving parts

The Seattle Seahawks officially have their really big rings.

The Super Bowl LX champions distributed their championship rings to players, coaches and staff in a private ceremony Thursday, the team announced. The Seahawks also provided a close look at the ring, which very much continues the trend of championship rings becoming more and more complicated.

Among other things, the rings, engineered by Jason of Beverly Hills, feature:

  • A diamond-encrusted replica of Lumen Field's arches

  • 50 white diamonds set around the center logo in honor of Seattle's 50th season

  • an authentic piece of game-used football inside the ring

  • a fully removable topper that can be used as a pendant on a chain

  • a button that causes the Lumen Field arches to pop out, revealing the words "WORLD CHAMPIONS"

These days, it's just not a championship ring if it's designed only to go on someone's finger. The Las Vegas Aces recently got ones that have a ring inside of a ring, as did the Los Angeles Dodgers, whose jewelry included infield dirt from the World Series.

The Seahawks are four months removed from their breakthrough 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots, winning it all in their second season under head coach Mike Macdonald and their first with starting quarterback Sam Darnold.

With the NFL season only a couple of months away, the Seahawks are tied for the third-best odds for a repeat Super Bowl championship at +1100, behind only the Los Angeles Rams (+500) and Buffalo Bills (+1000). If they pull it off, we can only imagine how complicated the next ring will be.
