U.S. Olympic skiing champion Bode Miller reportedly arrested on misdemeanor drug charges in Idaho
U.S. Olympic skiing champion Bode Miller was arrested on two misdemeanor drug charges in Idaho on June 6, according to court records obtained by TMZ.
Miller is charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records cited in the report.
Miller, 48, was released after posting a $5,000 bond and has pleaded not guilty, according to the report. He’s scheduled for a July 29 pretrial hearing to face the charges, per the report.
Further details of Miller’s arrest were not initially reported. Miller has not publicly addressed the news of his arrest.
Miller is a six-time Olympic medalist in five different events who won gold in the super combined in Vancouver in 2010. Miller also medaled in the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City and the 2014 Games in Sochi. He won those medals in the super-G, downhill, giant slalom and combined.
Miller is also a four-time gold medalist and one-time silver medalist in World Championship competition. He won 79 medals in World Cup competition, including 33 golds.
Miller was inducted into the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame in 2025.
