The 2026 World Cup continues Saturday with the start of play in the Round of 16.

Here's what you need to know for Day 24 of the World Cup.

Canada vs. Morocco

Saturday, July 4 | 1 p.m. ET | Houston | TV: Fox

Odds to advance: Canada +225, Morocco -300

Canada or Morocco will be the first team to reach the quarterfinals following their afternoon matchup in Houston.

Jesse Marsch's side won a knockout stage for the first time in its third World Cup appearance taking care of South Africa 2-0 in the Round of 32. Morocco, which finished fourth in 2022, beat the Netherlands after a dramatic penalty shootout.

The winner will see Paraguay or France in the final eight Thursday at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

Paraguay vs. France

Saturday, July 4 | 5 p.m. ET | Philadelphia | TV: Fox

Odds: Paraguay +1080, France -1800

The 2018 champions and 2022 runners-up have cruised through to the Round of 16 with four straight wins and 13 goals scored and only two allowed. France has looked unstoppable featuring Kylian Mbappé, Michael Olise and Ousmane Dembélé, among its weapons.

Paraguay lost its opening match to the United States, but rebounded to nab a third-place spot. Los Guaraníes then booked a place in the Round of 16 by upsetting Germany following a penalty shootout.

France has not lost any of the five previous matchups between the nations, winning three and drawing two. They last met in the 1998 World Cup Round of 16, which saw Les Bleus win 1-0 en route to winning the tournament.
