In that matchup, the Mercury's Alyssa Thomas was issued a flagrant foul after the fact for putting her fist on Caitlin Clark's throat. The situation has opened up a broader conversation about how games are officiated in the league. Clark returned to action last night after missing two games due to a back injury and is expected to play tonight. Thomas is on the Mercury's injury report but is also listed as probable for tonight's matchup.
