Veteran guard Victor Oladipo announced on his social media on Saturday that he will be hosting a Pro Day in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Tuesday, July 14.

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be holding a Pro Day on Tuesday, July 14, at 11:00 AM in Las Vegas.

Oladipo is hoping for a return to the NBA, where he hasn’t played since the 2022-2023 season.

He last played in the league for the Miami Heat, appearing in 42 games that year before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

Oladipo released a statement along with the announcement.

“The workout is open to NBA front office executives, scouts, coaches, league personnel, and officials interested in attending. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to compete, showcase where I am in my game, and connect with everyone in attendance.”

The guard was initially drafted with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic. Oladipo spent the first three years of his career with the franchise before being traded, along with Ersan Ilyasova and the rights to Domantas Sabonis, to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Serge Ibaka.

He was only in OKC for one season before he and Sabonis were traded to the Indiana Pacers in a deal that landed the Thunder Paul George.

Oladipo had a chaotic 2020-2021 season. He began it with the Pacers, but was traded in January as part of a four-team deal that largely was focused on James Harden landing with the Brooklyn Nets.

After the guard turned down a reported max extension from the Rockets, he was traded in March to the Miami Heat for Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk and a 2022 draft pick swap.

Oladipo has played in the NBA for 10 years so far. He has played in 504 career games and has averaged 16.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. Oladipo is a two-time NBA All-Star, was the NBA's Most Improved Player in 2018 and was named to the NBA's All-Defensive First Team in 2018.

The veteran guard signed with the Wisconsin Herd in the G-League. Olaadipo played in 15 games and averaged 13.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
