Jacob Misiorowski will not be bringing the heat to Tuesday night's MLB All-Star Game, but he has brought along a very special glove that he showed off this week in Philadelphia.

The Milwaukee Brewers fireballer, who was scratched from Sunday's start with arm fatigue and pulled out of the All-Star Game, showed off a custom-made Pokémon-themed glove that features a Charizard card inside and his last name written in Pokémon font with the colors of red, yellow and orange.

The 24-year-old ace has done this before. Misiorowski had a custom glove made in June that featured one of his rookie cards inside of it. In April, he showed off a purple version of his glove with a Japanese gengar card.

Misiorowski is a big Pokémon collector. His joy in ripping packs and seeing what's inside was on display last August when he pulled a rare Charizard card in the Brewers' clubhouse as teammates watched on.

Misiorowski, who sports a 10-4 record with a 1.62 ERA and 167 strikeouts over 18 starts, will not require a trip to the injured list following the All-Star break. He is expected to be ready when the Brewers resume their schedule this weekend against the Miami Marlins as they kick off a nine-game homestand.

As part of his success, Misiorowski has hit triple digits on his fastball 670 times this season, most among MLB pitchers.

"It [stinks] to miss a start and the All-Star Game, but I know it's the right thing to do in this situation," Misiorowski said. "My arm is a little tired."
