Cardinals personnel exec Ryan Gold suspended indefinitely by NFL for violating gambling policy
The NFL has suspended Arizona Cardinals personnel executive Ryan Gold indefinitely for violating the league’s gambling policy, according to a statement shared by ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The suspension is effective immediately.
In the statement, the NFL confirmed that it had been investigating Gold for potential violations. That investigation found that Gold had made parlay bets on both NFL and college games, and that he had “provided confidential, non-public inside information” on the Cardinals’ picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
“Although there is no reason to believe the integrity of any NFL game was affected, the League takes any violation of the Gambling Policy with the utmost seriousness,” the statement read.
Gold has the right to appeal the ruling, per the league.
