Drake London has played himself into becoming the Atlanta Falcons' No. 1 option at wide receiver over the past couple of seasons, and now he's been rewarded for it. London had a breakout year in 2024, which then carried over into 2025, even with him missing time due to injury.

For that performance, London is receiving a new four-year extension, per Ian Rapoport. The deal is worth $141 million, with $100 million guaranteed, per Adam Schefter. With bonuses, the deal can reportedly max out at $150 million.

The deal makes London the third-highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL. He trails only Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($168.6 million) and Ja’Marr Chase ($161 million).

Locking London up long-term shows the Falcons are investing in their future and ready to build around quarterback Michael Penix Jr., despite the season-ending knee injury he suffered midway through the 2025 campaign. London was drafted No. 8 overall by the Falcons in 2022 and has improved each season.

In his rookie year, London caught 72 passes for 866 yards in 17 games, 15 of which he started. He snagged 69 catches for 905 yards and started 16 games in his second year. London had six touchdown receptions in his first two seasons combined. It was Year 3 where London took a huge leap, grabbing 100 receptions for 1,271 and 9 touchdowns.

Week 17 of the 2024 season was a career day for London as he set a new high in receiving yards with 187 in a loss to Carolina to end the season. He also had 10 catches and two TDs in that game. In Week 5 last season, London set a career high for catches with 12 in a win over Tampa Bay. London had an efficient day, setting a new high on 13 targets while also adding 154 yards receiving and a touchdown. London ranked in the top 10 in receptions in 2024 and was fourth in receiving yards.

London's 2025 season was limited due to hip and PCL injuries, which forced him to miss five games. In the 12 games London appeared in, he caught 68 receptions for 919 yards and 7 touchdowns. While injuries may have kept him off the field, when he was out there running routes, London set new career highs for average yards per game (76.6) and yards per reception (13.5).

London was entering the final year of his rookie deal and set to make $16.8 million next season before the new extension.
