How to watch all 3 World Cup Opening Ceremonies: TV channel, start times, where to stream free, and more
Since there are three host nations at this year's World Cup, there will also be three opening ceremonies, one in Mexico City, one in Toronto, and one in Los Angeles. Each ceremony will immediately precede the first match played by each host country, and they're all going to be star-studded celebrations.
In Mexico City, Shakira and Burna Boy will headline the first ceremony on Thursday afternoon; Belinda, Danny Ocean, and more stars are expected to join them. On Friday, June 12, Toronto's ceremony will feature Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, and more in the afternoon, and then in the evening, you can tune in for the Los Angeles ceremony featuring Katy Perry, LISA, and Anitta.
Each ceremony airs 90 minutes before its corresponding match, and if you’re tuning in from the U.S., you can catch them all on FOX in English and on Telemundo in Spanish.
