Rep. Espaillat brushes off primary challenge: “I’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time”

Democratic Rep. Adriano Espaillat, who chairs the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, has been one of the fiercest critics of President Trump, dating back to the president's first term. But the New Yorker now faces a primary challenger from his left who believes he hasn't been fierce enough and also has the backing of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
