World Cup 2026 ticket prices drop off after USMNT, Mexico, Canada exit tournament
The U.S. men's national team's defeat to Belgium meant that all three co-hosts of the 2026 World Cup had been eliminated in the Round of 16.
Canada was knocked out by Morocco 2-0 on Saturday, while Mexico fell to England on Sunday night at Estadio Azteca. After Tuesday's pair of matches, which includes Lionel Messi and Argentina, we will know all eight teams that will take part in the quarterfinals.
With the three co-hosts gone, that has greatly affected the ticket market for the remaining games of the World Cup. According to Gametime, prices for all four quarterfinal matchups have dropped more than 50% since their peak over 10 days ago.
